This helicopter is known by many varied names, in Australia however it is more commonly known as the Squirrel. The Squirrel is a light single-engined helicopter which can carry between 5 / 6 passengers + 1 pilot depending on the aircraft seating configuration. This aircraft is very versatile, having many advantages such as a spacious cabin, comfortable seating, all forward facing seats, unobstructed cabin for excellent viewing, unrivalled performance and reliability and a fast cruise speed which meets the requirements of the most varied missions. It's modern and simple design, provides increased comfort by reducing the sound and vibration levels in the cabin. The Squirrel is particularly suited for passenger transport, lifting operations and photography with an exceptional cruise speed which reduces cost expenditures for the customer. The AS350BA model has an increased load performance, being able to takeoff with an additional 150 kg payload above the AS350B model. Marine Helicopters have configured both their AS350BA models with a dual person front seat, which can then accommodate a total of 6 passengers plus pilot.
